BRIEF INTRODUCTION TO IMDER 

The construction equipment sector plays an important role in the sustainable development of a county. İMDER, now on its 10th year, has played an important role in the Turkish economy.

A full 97% of the construction equipment sector are represented in IMDER. Consisting of the biggest companies in Turkey, IMDER continues to develop rapidly. 

IMDER contributes to trade in our country and plays an active role by making Turkey well-known in international platforms. MDER members follow and implement international standards, including those of the EU.  

The construction equipment sector is one of the key players in the development of a country. The total number and types of machines available in the country serve as development indicators. 

IMDER, the Turkish Construction Equipment Distributors and Manufacturers Association, was established in 2002. IMDER represents approximately 200 companies in Turkey that are IMDER members or members of sector committees.  

IMDER`s main goals are:

To increase cooperation, coordination, negotiation and efficiency among member organizations.

To establish cooperation within construction equipment sector so as to resolve relevant issues and problems and find solutions for common concerns.

To increase the dialogue between sector members  and government bodies; to be apprised of all official directives, laws, regulations, standards through the preparation and realization of joint work.

To assure EU-World integration between the CE sector + the Turkish government

To represent its members and our country in all kind of forums concerning different issues related to the industry. 

IMDER has face to face meetings with 200 government officials, including 33 ministers and other government offices.

In accordance with Law No. 5253 dated 2007, and with the approval of the Interior Ministry and all relevant ministries we have exclusive rights to the use of the name İMDER to represent the construction equipment sector in Turkey .
